The beaches

In the surroundings of Hotel Baia del Porto

The stretch of coast between Budoni and San Teodoro is stunning, the Hotel Baia del Porto is in an ideal position to reach the most beautiful beaches. Reachable on foot from the Hotel, the Porto Ottiolu beach is a white sand cove with shallow water; the beach is also ideal for children. From here we have two options: move north towards San Teodoro or south towards Budoni. In the direction of San Teodoro is the Isuledda beach, which is characterized by its fine white sand and an open view of the Island of Tavolara. Continuing on we find the extraordinary granite cliffs and the turquoise sea of Cala D’Ambra. The coast is connected to San Teodoro by a long tree-lined avenue that opens onto the crystal clear sea. La Cinta is the spearhead of San Teodoro: three kilometres of white sand dunes surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and bordered to the north by the San Teodoro pond. Lu Impostu is in the locality of Capo Coda Cavallo. The beach is wide and has plenty of services; its shallow water is ideal for children. Connected by a promontory to the beach of Lu Impostu, Cala Brandinchi has one of the most beautiful seabeds in Sardinia. The panorama of Ruia island to the east, and Capo Coda Cavallo and Tavolara to the north is among the most evocative. If, on the other hand, we go from the Hotel Baia del Porto towards Budoni we will reach the Cala di Budoni main beach. A postcard picture of crystalline sea, myrtle, and mastic alternating between the sand dunes.Further south in the locality of Tanaunella, the beach of Sant’Anna overlooks the Pedrami islet; the rocky seabed makes it a favorite destination for diving enthusiasts. Finally, there is the beach of Portu Ainu, characterized by rather coarse light sand and colours that vary from turquoise to blue.
